Fellow runners,

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement banning gatherings of more than 100 people and the press release of the FFA ruling today on the cancellation of all competitions, group training and gatherings due to the increasing circulation of the Covid-19 Coronavirus on our territory, we regret to announce the postponement of the Ultramontée du Salève 2020.

Scheduled for Saturday, April 11th, the event is postponed to the fall and should take place between October 3rd and 17th, 2020. As soon as the date is set, you will be informed.

All registrations for this 11th edition will be kept. The remaining 100 bibs will be on sale during this August. Refunds are not possible. In case of doubt or question, please refer to the rules of the event.

This is a huge disappointment for us. Please believe that all the sanitary organization measures had been thought and prepared to offer a maximum of comfort and security to all participants. However, the evolution of the epidemic will have overtaken our will.

We believe that all our efforts invested in this major organization will not be in vain and that next October, we can look forward to running together the 11th edition of the Ultra Montée du Salève in the best conditions!
